Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy

A 42nd birthday? That calls for a Hitchikers Guide themed party. After tossing a few ideas about we settled on the bowl of petunias – it was accompanied by a whale pinata for full effect.

Chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and covered in fondant it was finished with some cookie dirt and gumpaste flowers, petals and leaves.

   It was absolutely delicious and awesomely in theme with the party. Guests have told me they are still dreaming of the creamy peanut butter icing that accompanied the rich chocolate cake. No one is going to be saying “Oh no not again” with this creation.
